I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mike and his team – special mention to Sandy for the fabulous house which I now reside in. This started off as a small project which rapidly became a full house renovation (my choice0. I was guided by Mike in making a pivotal decision (remove a chimney and seventies fire surround) this shaped what is now a magnificent kitchen, living, dining area on a large scale with a balcony off this fabulous area.

Mike was a great builder to work with – he listened to my many ideas and then we whittled them down to make a workable solution. A project of this size demands many decisions – not least Mike coping with an exacting client who changed her mind a number of times. Mike’s patience, attention to detail, craftsmanship and solution finding meant that at each potential problem a solution was found.

Our house is amazing and a fab space to live in. it is full of features which have been executed to such a high standard by Mike and his team. They are all good people to work with. Mike also returns to fix any snagging and is a just a pleasure to work with. We have used him over a number of years and will continue to use him. I can recommend him one hundred percent.

Mike was recommended by a colleague and after getting three quotes we appointed Mike and Stuart @ Moores (architect) to do an internal reconfiguration of the back of our house. Mike's advice was valued on multiple occasions e.g. with the structural engineer, the doors, boiler, etc. and his actions demonstrated he had our needs at the forefront of his service, which led to a trusting relationship.

We decided to change the layout of our downstairs from a lounge/dining room to a separate lounge and a large diner/kitchen as well as adding a wooden decking to the rear of the property. We initially approached a builder who had done a very good job on a friend’s kitchen. The architect's plan went through without any issue but the builder then made it very clear he didn’t want the job.

In trying to find a replacement, we came across positive reviews of M W Joinery on www.mybuilder.com, one which was similar to our needs. I contacted Mike who came to see us, had a look at our current layout and said he’d be interested in the work. We found him to be straightforward and genuine from the outset. He took away the plans and came back a few days later with an detailed costing for the job, with realistic timings and provisions for different scenarios, dependent upon our final decisions.

Mike managed the whole project from start to finish, bringing in additional tradesmen – plumber, electrician etc. - as and when required. He always arrived when he said he would, and came back after the other tradesmen had been in to make sure the work had been completed and he and we were happy with it. We were fully aware of what was happening and when any changes arose, were advised how it might affect the budget. Mike made a number of practical suggestions to the layout, which we preferred and adopted. His attention to detail is second to none and his standards are probably higher than any potential customer’s would be.

We are absolutely delighted with our new layout and the quality of work undertaken both internally and externally by Mike and his team. I cannot recommend M W Joinery highlyenough for the first class work he did and our only regret is that we didn’t decide to do itsooner.

Mike ward has done numerous jobs for us, some small some very large. He project managed the building of our extension and was the joiner during the build. Whatever job Mike does for us he also organizes all the other tradesmen. We have just had our dining room wall removed and a large kitchen diner made, Mike fitted the new kitchen.

The work is always completed on time and if there are any issues Mike will discuss them in advance to let us know if there are to be any delays. We are normally within budget and if we do make any changes Mike will always tell us in advance how this will effect the budget.

I have used Mike Ward on numerous occasions at work also and he has renovated our business offices, again to a very high standard. Mikes strengths are always on time, always keeps the client in the loop and any changes or problems are flagged up early so decisions can be made. Always has a solution to any problems that may arise. Mike always manages the other tradesmen needed to complete a job and again will solve problems they may have. I recommend Mike to many people and have never had any negative feedback. A top rate joiner whose work is to a very high standard.

The concept was to take a very closed kitchen, living, dining and out-house space and open it up allowing it to flow. The design delivered access via the entrance hall to a large dining kitchen with sitting space opening into a full dining and main living space.

Converting the out-house area allowed for the kitchen/living extension and the addition of a utility with access to the garage. All rooms were finished off with full size windows and French doors onto a decked area through to the garden.

The addition of the Velux roof windows just brings so much light into what is now the feature of our home. MW Joinery delivered our initial ideas to the fullest turning a 1960s badly planned home into a free flowing space for our modern day living. It’s where we spend most of our time and particularly where the socialising now occurs! MW Joinery ensured that the job was completed on time and within budget with close communications every step of the way. This made what could have been a major upheaval very straightforward, particularly as we both work long hours.

MW Joinery Services supported me throughout our home refurbishmnent projects which consisted of a garage conversion, refurbishment of kitchen, family room, large bifold doors with external decking, bedroom and two ensuites.

Mike provided great input from the planning stage, before the architect was engaged, until completion of the project and I am thrilled with the results.
Taking on a project whilst I was working long hours at a stressful time meant that there was a high degree of trust and mutual respect. Mike guided me throughout always respectful that the final decision was mine. He made it very easy as he always acts with full consideration of the customer.

His own work is delivered to an exceptionally high standard as is that of his supporting tradesmen who are organised seamlessly with no impact on the client. I cannot recommend MW Joinery Services highly enough. I'm at the end of my project now, delighted with the results which were delivered stress free-all down to Mike and his team

We chose Mike at MW Joinery Services above several competitors and never regretted the decision. When vetting potential contractors, we needed a company that could visualise the concept through to completion of our project which included designing and building a bespoke staircase, replacement of 21 gazing units, laying of solid oak flooring and a new bathroom and office suite.

Mike provided us with excellent customer service and first class technical knowledge, this was exemplified by Mikes attention to detail and assistance in overcoming several unknown challenges faced during the works. The project was finished on time and on budget, to a high standard.

The concept came from an idea to update and modernise our lounge. I was tired of having a dark dated look. I wanted something bright and airy which would best show the area of the room and the hallway. I contacted Mike who measured the area, and gave some sound advice regarding choosing a quality flooring.

Once I received Mikes quotation, a date was set for the works to begin.He arrived promptly each day and left our home clean and tidy. I was delighted with his workmanship professionalism and attention to detail. The end result is stunning. The change is so dramatic It looks like a different house!

As a couple who like to entertain family and friends, we decided to change the layout of our house to allow a large open kitchen, dining and living area.
